Williams F1
Elephantmedia provided bespoke presentation software to the Williams F1 team for the 2005 Formula 1 season. We updated this software for use in the 2006 & 2007 seasons due to major changes in the team's branding. We also added functionality and made changes to the underlying database systems as a result of changes to Formula 1 rules.
The presentation system comprises a front end built with Macromedia Director which collects and displays data from a database administered by a bespoke administration application written in C#. Controlled centrally, the software runs on several networked machines around the Formula 1 paddock and is available for use by guests of the team at race weekends and by team personnel for presentation purposes. Additionally a cut down version of the software is on display with a Williams F1 car in the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt Design Museum in New York.
The F1 presentation system is unique to the Williams F1 team & not available for viewing online. Please contact us at info@elephantmedia.co.uk if you would like more information.
